Our extensive range of equipment allows us to film specialist shots, record high quality audio, adapt to a diverse range of environments and capture each event dynamically.

We use what equipment we need, in each situation, to get the best results. This is often determined by the type of location, space, lighting, audio requirements and where specialist shots can be filmed to good effect etc. All equipment used, featured here, is owned exclusively by IKIRU PRODUCTIONS.

	Sony PMW-EX1 High Definition Cameras We use two Sony PMW-EX1 cameras as primary cameras to film constant HD footage.
	Canon XM2 Cameras We carry two Canon XM2 cameras as backup cameras and for additional angles in Event Videography.
	Contour HD1080 Cameras We use two Contour HD cameras, allowing us to film from the bonnet of a car, the inside/ outside windscreen or any other moving vehicle. Both cameras are shock proof, water proof and mounted via a pro-suction mount which does not cause damage.
	Audio Technica BP4029 Shotgun Microphones We use two Pro-audio camera-mount shotgun microphones. Highest quality audio for short, medium and long range recording with noise elimination. As used for TV broadcast in the Olympics.
	Tascam DR-680 8 track Field Recorder This pro-audio portable recorder allows for direct 8 track location recordings. We use this for live performance recordings and as an addional audio recording source. For bands and discos this allows us to record direct from the source output for a more professional edit.
	ProAm Camera Crane Allowing for fluid extension and sweeping shots up to a height of 3.65 meters. The cameras mount on a remote controlled pan & tilt head, shots are tracked on a crane-mounted LCD monitor.
	Manfrotto 025BS Superboom & adjustable LED Lighting Allowing for precision lighting from a height of up to 2.7 meters, the superboom is mounted on a tripod with manouevarble caster wheels. The boom-mounted LED light has an adjustable brightness dimmer and diffuser to get the perfect lighting, when needed.
	Manfrotto 127vs Dollies Two dollies which allow for both cameras and tripods to be mounted on a 'Y' shaped rig with caster wheels. The cameras can then glide freely and manouvere for smooth and steady tracking shots.
	Manfrotto Tripods: 701HDV Pro-Fluid heads & 055 Tripods Two Pro-Fluid HD Tripods for ultra smooth camera panning. Allows for rock solid, flexible camera positioning from a min. height of 57.5 centimeters up to an extended height of 1.87 meters.
	Hague Twin Shoulder-Mount Steadycam For an alternative support to tripods when steady mobile shooting is required.
	Rycote Shotgun Microphone Noise Insulation The audio recorded by the camera-mount shotgun microphones needs to be kept free of unwanted noise interference. Our mics are fixed on Rycote shock absorber mounts, which inhibit vibration, and fitted with Windshields to elimate wind noise.
	Audio Technica BP4002 Interview Microphones We use two pro-audio omnidirectional dynamic microphones. These are the highest quality interview microphones which capture the clearest audio even in the loudest environments.
	Sony Alpha A350 DSLR Camera For stills photography when & where required. Also with a range of telephoto and macro lenses etc.
